Explore Sulphur's cultural scene at the Henning Cultural Center, managed by Sulphur Parks and Recreation, and featuring programming by the Brimstone Historical Society.

Following damage from Hurricanes Laura and Delta, the original Brimstone Museum building and the O Gauge Model Railroad Exhibit were unfortunately demolished due to structural issues.

Despite setbacks, the Henning Cultural Center remains a vital community space, offering exhibits that reflect on our heritage and the culture of SWLA. The Brimstone Museum team now focuses on curating art shows, exhibitions, and engaging programming at the center.

Our open call art shows highlight local Louisiana and Texas artists, with no fees for entry, display, or sales. Your support helps us continue serving the community and promoting artistic expression.
